I met a Girl
November 23rd, 2004 by Dusty
I met a girl on Sunday night. She was beautiful, petite, and she smelled really good, and as I held her in my arms I thought, “Wow…this is truly amazing.” I have a feeling I will know this girl for the rest of my life.

Her name is Ava Ramsdale, Beautiful daughter of two of my best friends, Chris (CRam) and Jaqueline.
She got a little squirmy when I was holding her because I don’t have the patting/bouncing rhythm down quite as well as her dad does (or maybe she is already a very good judge of what kind of guy to stay away from). He’s a champ at it after spending the past four weeks up all night practicing. Here CRam shows off by holding her (instantly making her stop wiggling) and making a face AT THE SAME TIME. Parental superpowers.

So congratulations to the proud parents. May she grow up to be as great a person as the two of you are.
